What is in-house calibration and how does it work?
In-house calibration means you send or deliver your instruments to our accredited lab at 28F Penjuru Close #01-05, Singapore 609134. Our technicians calibrate them under controlled conditions against traceable reference standards, then return them to you with a calibration report.

How long does in-house calibration take?
Our standard turnaround is approximately 4 working days from equipment drop-off to collection. Or equipment pick up by our team and return within the next 4-5 working days.

Do I need to prepare my instruments before sending them in?
Yes — instruments must be clean and in proper working condition. UniCal does not carry out equipment repairs. Sending faulty instruments may result in delays and additional downtime.

If an instrument is found to be faulty, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for calibration after work has commenced, a charge of 50% of the quoted calibration fee may apply to cover the inspection, setup, and calibration work already performed. When will I receive my calibration report for in-house jobs?
Your calibration report will typically be ready at the point of collection or delivery of your instruments.

For express calibration services, the calibrated instruments may be ready earlier; however, the calibration reports will generally be issued on the next working day, as all reports must undergo a final review and approval by an authorised signatory before release.

Electronic calibration reports (PDF certificates) will be sent via email or WhatsApp upon receipt of payment or payment advice confirmation.
