What is on-site calibration and when should I choose it?
On-site calibration is the right choice when your instruments are large, fixed in place, or operationally sensitive — such as environmental monitoring systems, cold room sensors, or weighing platforms in a production line. Our technicians travel to your facility with portable reference standards and calibrate instruments in situ, minimizing downtime.
How do I schedule an on-site calibration visit?
Contact us with your site address, instrument list, and preferred timing. We work around your operational schedule — including shift hours — to minimize disruption. Most visits are confirmed within 3 business days of your enquiry.
What happens during an on-site calibration visit?
Our trained technician arrives with all necessary reference equipment, performs calibration at each instrument location, and records “as found” and “as left” measurements, where applicable. A brief debrief is available upon request before we leave your site.
When will I receive my report after an on-site visit?
On-site calibration reports are issued within 1 week of the completed site visit. Reports are delivered digitally and meet all SAC-SINGLAS documentation requirements.
Can I request photographic documentation of the calibration process?
Yes. Photographic records of the calibration process is possible upon request for both in-house and on-site jobs — useful for audit trails and internal QMS records.
